Happy New Year 2013 from Aikido Journal!

On behalf of the staff of Aikido Journal, I would like to wish you a happy and prosperous New Year in 2013. Thanks to each and every one of you who have supported and shown interest in our work during the nearly four decades of our existence.

We promise to continue with full vigor our efforts to disseminate the best in aikido-related materials for our worldwide community.

  4. Well, another year gone cuckoo, like the good intentions to make for a kinder, more compassionate World of Ueshiba Aiki. We simply get to try even harder next year, and hope that the trolls forget the website address.

    Thanks for the great work, research and patience that has come to symbolize Excellence in Aiki, for Aikido Journal, its loyal and hardworking staff, and to its indomitable leader, YOU, Stanley Pranin.

    Many issues remains to be addressed, and with you manning the sails, the Good Ship Aikido will continue to ply the raging main of stormy seas. Heck, that is why it is so much fun!!

Above all, Stanley, thank you for your singular historical research into Aikido. Would that some university would give you a doctoral degree for this work! It has been peerless and priceless.
