Aikido Training in Las Vegas

Aikido Journal Editor Stanley Pranin is conducting regular classes in Las Vegas on Mondays and Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 pm.

The home dojo is located near the South Point Casino and Iwama Aikido is the style practiced. If you live in the area or are a visitor and would like to stop by you may contact us as described below:

  1. Wish I lived nearer ‘Vegas…

  2. Stan was one of my early instructors at his Seaside, CA dojo in the mid-‘70s. After a short hiatus of 30 years, I returned to Aikido in West Virginia as a beginner. In my sixth year of training here, I took the opportunity to train again with Stan on two days when I was in Las Vegas last May. It was a great experience! Stan is still the gentle soul I remembered. His dojo is in his home, and he has a good group of students. Although I practice Tomiki style, I found much to learn from Stan’s Iwama style. I would heartily recommend visiting Stan’s dojo when you are in Vegas!
