  1. …it is hard to justify martial arts training in any age, but especially ours. today, guns trump hands 90% of the time, not to say that good shooting isn’t a martial art. but, especially in low risk neighborhoods, there are few justifications for the time spent on martial arts. ok. physical fitness. a certain amount of mental balance, but there are certainly other ways to get both. probably why the drop-out rate at martial arts academies is so high…
